Gabriel Polycarpo

Gabriel Polycarpo is a graduate of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music where he received a full scholarship to study under Prof. Edward Gazouleas. Gabriel won the 2015 Indiana University Viola Concerto Competition, 2014 Indiana University Kuttner Chamber Music Competition, and the 2012 Porto Alegre Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition. Earlier professors have included Maggie Snyder in the United States and Hella Frank and Fredi Gerling in Brazil.

Gabriel has performed with professional and academic orchestras in the United States and around the world such as the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Carmel Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, World Youth Orchestra, YOA Orchestra of the Americas and Academia Teatro del Lago Orchestra.

Gabriel Polycarpo's participation in the Institute is in collaboration with the Youth Orchestra of the Americas.
