Alain Jean

Alain Jean has been Executive Director of the Centre des auteurs dramatiques in Montreal since April 2017. He was previously employed by the organization from 2002 to 2009 as a dramaturgical advisor and coordinator of the dramaturgy sector. In between, he served as Executive Director of the Association des théâtres francophones in Ottawa from 2009 to 2017. He was also Assistant Artistic Director of the Festival TransAmériques (2001–2002) and Artistic Director of Théâtre la Seizième in Vancouver (1997–2001). Alain Jean studied acting at the Conservatoire d’Art dramatique de Québec.
