ARTIST and PROGRAM CHANGE

Please note that, due to injury, Louis Lortie has been forced to cancel his scheduled appearance in this Great Performers recital

JEAN-PHILIPPE COLLARD IN RECITAL
The NAC is delighted to announce that renowned French pianist Jean-Philippe Collard replaces Mr. Lortie. Mr. Collard will perform:

  • Six Préludes by Debussy
  • Chopin’s Scherzo No. 3 in C Sharp Minor, Op. 39; Nocturne in C minor, Op. 48, No. 1; and Ballade No. 4 in F minor, Op. 52
  • Liszt’s Piano Sonata in B minor

The National Arts Centre is committed to presenting the very best performers to our audiences. We sincerely regret this cancellation, which was initiated by the artist and is beyond our control.  We have taken pains to find a replacement who is every bit as good as the artist who has had to cancel. We sincerely hope our audiences enjoy this recital.

Christopher Deacon, Managing Director of the NAC Orchestra
