A dazzling collection of repertoire is as rising star Julian Kuerti returns to conduct Mozart’s Flute Concerto No. 1 and Beethoven’s wonderful second Symphony.

Past participant in the NAC’s Summer Music Institute’s Young Artists Program, conductor Julian Kuerti returns to conduct Joanna G’froerer and the NAC Orchestra in Mozart’s Flute Concerto No. 1. Kuerti also leads a world premiere by NAC Award-winning composer John Estacio as well as Beethoven’s second Symphony, and the exciting work of Jacques Hétu – one of Canada’s most esteemed and frequently performed composers. Antinomie was written for the NAC Orchestra and was first performed by this ensemble on October 4, 1977 with Mario Bernardi conducting.
