All-New Show & With A Live Orchestra

Presented by Falun Dafa Association of Ottawa

Every year, Shen Yun Performing Arts unveils an entirely new lineup of dances, songs, and musical scores that offers an exhilarating world-class production on a grand scale. Its exquisite performances celebrate the excellence and grandeur of classical Chinese dance and music inspired by the myths, legends, and divine beauty of 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture.

Since 2007, Shen Yun has dazzled millions of show-goers in more than 100 cities — including 12 in Canada. In January 2010, the NAC had to open standing room seating for every show as all Shen Yun shows had sold out.

The New York-based Shen Yun features three touring companies, each with about 100 exceptional artists, including winners of top international competitions in dance and music.

Weaving wondrous stories of heavenly realms, enchanting dreams, and the classic battle between good and evil, the breathtaking pageantry evokes themes of virtue, compassion, and courage at the heart of China’s divinely inspired culture — from ancient tales of valour to modern-day epics such as that of Falun Dafa.

Hear soaring songs by masterful vocalists that will move and inspire. Appreciate a unique orchestra that embraces Chinese and Western instruments in a masterful fusion. Be spellbound by stunning costumes, brilliant choreography, and state-of-the-art dynamic backdrops.

Experience the extraordinary! Shen Yun is truly a can't-miss.
