The majority of the script is taken verbatim from court transcripts and testimony. For actor Eric Peterson the play stimulates the minds of the audience as well as their imaginations.
Peterson was immediately drawn to the strength and determination of Percy Schmeiser. Having grown up in Saskatchewan Peterson has had a lot of experience with the farming community and recognizes the impact genetic engineering has made on Canada's agricultural industry and the farmers who work the land.
