Alice’s Adventures at the Capital Pride Parade

To help celebrate the Magic of Alice that will take place at the National Arts Centre this season, Dance and English Theatre sent a marching float of Alices to join the Capital Pride Parade festivities. They were joined by five playing card soldiers who helped keep the party going as bubbles, pinwheels, flamingos and a delightful tea trolley stacked with cups and saucers were ready to spill into the colourful crowd.

The Magic of Alice will continue throughout the 2014-15 season, leading to the NAC English Theatre's wildly inventive production of Alice Through the Looking-Glass in December and NAC Dance’s presentation of the glorious ballet treatment of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by the National Ballet of Canada in the Spring.

Keep your eyes open – you’ll never know where you might see Alice in the future!
