Les vendredis de la chanson francophone

The National Arts Centre (NAC)’s Vendredis de la chanson francophonesinger/songwriter concert series, launched in 2001, is copresented by the NAC and the Association des professionnels de la chanson et de la musique (APCM). The showcase-style Friday-night concerts are designed to introduce Ottawa audiences to emerging and established Francophone artists from Ontario and all across Canada.

Presented in the intimate cabaret setting of the NAC’s Fourth Stage, the concerts invite the audience to discover or rediscover the unique talents of a wide range of artists, offering an up-close-and-personal journey through a rich and diverse musical landscape.
