Acclaimed by the Ottawa Citizen for his “commanding stage presence, dazzling brilliance and colour,” virtuoso Canadian violinist James Ehnes joins the NAC Orchestra to astound audiences with technical fireworks and melodic vividness as he performs two of Camille Saint-Saëns’ Spanish-inspired concertos.  Norwegian conductor Arild Remmereit returns to lead Mozart’s hypnotic Symphony No. 40 and Alexina Louie’s Take the Dog Sled, a unique work with Arctic influences for winds, brass, percussion and throat singers.
