The young prodigy Mozart composed his ever popular Divertimento for Strings in Salzburg at the age of 16. The String Quartet in C minor, written by the 21-year-old MacMillan, is a jewel of the Canadian String Quartet repertoire, while the Quintet in G major by the then 33-year-old Dvořák displays his fervent nationalistic style as a young Czech composer.
