In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Arctic Expedition of 1913-1916, the Canadian Museum of Nature presents Extraordinary Arctic, an exciting line-up of activities that will bring the far North — its culture, history, and natural science — right to the nation’s capital.
Highlights include films from the National Film Board of Canada’s Unikkausivut – Sharing Our Stories collection of Inuit films; Nature Nocturne, an adult night with Arctic-related activities, performances and a DJ; and a fun-filled Family Day featuring storytelling, films, games and other activities, like learning how to build an igloo!
