Tis the Season for Giving! Join us for the Annual Free Christmas FanFair Concert

OTTAWA (Canada) – As a heartfelt thank you to its community, and in tribute to the faithful support of its public, the National Arts Centre Orchestra Players' Association is pleased to announce the annual presentation of its FanFair, an annual free concert that benefits the Snowsuit Fund and the Ottawa Food Bank.

Media are invited to attend this free community event.

Where: NAC Foyer

When: Sunday, December 13, 1 p.m. concert (bake sale begins at noon)

What: NAC Orchestra Players’ Association Annual FanFair concert with a surprise ‘special guest’ conductor.

This year, the players will be joined in this one-hour family-friendly concert by 2015 NACO Bursary winner flutist Phoebe Robertson, young choristers from OrKidstra, and the Choirs of Christ Church Cathedral for our popular Christmas carol sing-along.

Every year, hundreds of people attend the concert to sing carols, enjoy holiday music and enjoy homemade treats prepared for the annual bake sale presented by the Friends of the National Arts Centre Orchestra.

Thanks to the generosity of its audience, every year the NAC Orchestra Players' Association assists in directing much needed funds to its two favourite local charities: namely the Snowsuit Fund and the Ottawa Food Bank.  Monetary donations will be accepted by members of the NACO Players’ Association at FanFair 2015.

Concert admission is free, and the NAC has graciously offered complimentary parking for this event in its underground lot.

We hope to see you there for a festive event, celebrating the joy the season!
