Close Encounters explores how we engage with dance, literature, nature and each other through music, with the most exciting encounter being between two orchestras – joining forces for the first time – the NAC Orchestra and Ottawa Youth Orchestra. For one hour, listen to 125 musicians perform selections from Beethoven, Borodin, Kabalevsky and Faure in the newly renovated Southam Hall stage with NAC Orchestra Music Director Alexander Shelley conducting.
