Canadian Improv Games is a national nonprofit that, through teaching the skills of improvisation, spotlights the uniqueness of Canadian youth. Since 1977, Ottawa schools have stepped on stage with nothing but their wits and energy to guide them, and based on suggestions from the audience, they create amazing improvised scenes!

While the Ottawa Tournament sees high school teams competing for gold, there are many other student teams in the Ottawa region: this is their night! Ten different teams take the stage to show off their improv chops, in this non-competitive Canadian Improv Games showcase!

Not many know it, but the Ottawa improv comedy scene is bustling! With a number of comedy options for audiences looking for a fun night out, we're putting all those companies on one stage for a showcase of what's on offer for the Ottawa improv fan.
