Claudette L’Heureux was raised in a grocery store, and every Sunday her father told her stories. Claudette took over storytelling duties during the rest of the week, sitting at the top of the stairs enchanting her brothers and sisters. She has come quite a long way since, from the top of the stairs at home to the NAC.
She will talk about her mother, whose considerable repertoire of proverbs, Biblical verses, songs and ditties were used to educate her children. As a twin sister, she was in the habit of saying I am “paire et mère,” and was indeed that and more.
The evening will begin with Part 3 of Stéphane Guertin’s Vie et mort d’un char boiteux.
