La Chatte blanche – Storyteller Nadine Walsh has adapted and magnificently performs this story published in Paris in 1698 by Madame d’Aulnoy. In collaboration with the musicians in the ensemble Les Idées heureuses, Nadine evokes the baroque period prior to the Enlightenment, a time when fairy tales were told not only in humble cottages around the hearth but also in literary salons.

She will be accompanied by Sara Lackie on the triple harp, Marie-Laurence Primeau on bass viol and musical director Natalie Michaud on recorders.

The evening begins with Stéphane Guertin performing Vie et mort d’un char boiteux, a story in four episodes that will be the warm-up act for shows in January, February, March and April 2016. These sometimes comical, sometimes touching but always gripping real life adventures tell the tale of the most intense 40,000 km of his life.
