The Raven dances, the Raven sings, the Raven always has something to say. From the time inuit lived a nomadic life, the Raven has occupied a central place in the imaginations and cultures of the peoples of the Eastern Arctic.

Acclaimed director Sylvia Cloutier brings together a diverse group of leading artists from Nunavut, Nunavik and Greenland to collaboratively explore inuit stories through dance, music, Greenlandic Mask, theatre and storytelling. The result is Tulugak: Inuit Raven Stories, a unique, engaging show for young and old alike.

The play will also be presented for school audiences on May 1 and 2.

Originally created for the Alianait Arts Festival. Developed in association with The Banff Centre and the Canada Council for the Arts. Presented in association with the NAC's Northen Scene.
