Considered a signature production of the larger-than-life Bolshoi Ballet, Don Quixote immediately conjures images of technical wizardry and astonishing feats — Russian ballet at its most powerful and vivid. Based on Cervantes’s famous novel ‘Don Quixote de la Mancha,’ the enduring adaptation combines precious artistry, infectious energy, and masterful demonstrations of classical technique. The Bolshoi dazzles at every opportunity with its thrilling fireworks of non-stop athleticism and beautifully realized acting. Glittering costumes, lavish sets and a sweeping score add to the overall splendour. This is dance at its finest by one of the world’s greatest ballet companies.
