At the invitation of a Company of Fools, theatre companies from across the region will compete in a friendly Contest of Creation in celebration of World Theatre Day, Thursday, March 27, 2014. The competitors have 48 hours to write, rehearse, and produce a brand-new piece of theatre based  on objects of inspiration provided to them by their fellow competitors.

A panel of esteemed judges adjudicates the performances.  Bribes are encouraged, and cat-calls,  laughter, and silliness abound- all for bragging rights as Ottawa’s Best Theatre Company for the coming year and  the esteemed privilege of holding the coveted Rubber Chicken Award for the year.  Funds raised are donated to a charity of the winner’s choice. Come join in the fun at this not to be missed event!
