The NAC is pleased to host the launch of Jazz Winterlude, a new CD by local singer (and project initiator) Jozée Devoua, backed by the members of Swing Addiction: Jean Pierre Allain on piano, Denis Ouellet on drums, and Normand Glaude on bass.
Following the success of their debut album, Low Key, released in 2007 and sold in a dozen countries, the group decided to devote their new CD to a very personal expression of the Christmas spirit in music.
They’ll perform a selection of popular holiday favourites and a few lesser-known seasonal songs, all in their own original arrangements.
Jozée and the band will be joined by two guest artists featured on the CD: acclaimed local saxophonist Mike Tremblay and Jean Cousineau, guest vocalist on the album’s bonus track.
