Crossing Canada from west to east for the seventh time since 2000, the ECM+ Generation 2012 Canadian tour (conducted by Véronique Lacroix and hosted by writer-composer Nicolas Gilbert) presents a new edition of this now-legendary project. With four new works from young Canadian composers Gabriel Dharmoo (Quebec), Marielle Groven (Nova Scotia), Annesley Black (Ontario), and Riho Esko Maimets (Ontario) - and electrifying interpretations of the renowned Montreal Ensemble, including solo violinist Véronique Mathieu - audiences of the eight-city tour get to choose the winner of the Generation 2012 Audience Choice Award by voting for their favourite piece.
