Based in Hull, Québec FET.NAT is a collective that exists since 2010. Using fractured rhythms, grooves, atypical melodies, dislocated forms and improvisation FET.NAT creates a sound of their own. Their music can sound utterly disorganized at times but is always in control, bending space/time with elastic rhythms that some reviewers like to qualify as: "spasmodic-punk". By mixing free jazz, noise, krautrock, punk and even Créole and Afro-beat influences with JFNO's absurd, theatrical and cynical lyrics FET.NAT is a “ludique” quartet that is always looking for novelty in their creation. FET.NAT is totally DIY and very implicated in the visual art scene having collaborations with local illustrators, video artists, poets and screenprinters for all their art work.
