Like his DNA, Thomas Hellman’s songs blend influences from different parts of the world. Born in 1975 to a Texan father and a mother from southern France, this bilingual singer–songwriter is an authentic and engaging artist. A talented multi-instrumentalist with five award-winning albums to his credit, he composes songs for children, for theatre and for film; as if that weren’t enough, he also writes essays, poems and articles. He holds an MA in French literature and is a passionate admirer of Quebec poet Roland Giguère. His driving ambition: to add music to literature and literature to music.
