Kathleen Ivaluarjuk Merritt (IVA) is an Inuit throat-singer, writer, and collaborative musician from Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. She has performed all across Canada and has a growing international performance career. In 2015, she released her acclaimed debut album, Ice Lines and Seal Skin. Kathleen is also an accomplished educator, facilitator, and arts administrator and has worked with organizations including the Alianait Festival, Adventure Canada, and the National Arts Centre.
